today we have learned something that is very new ( at least to me) : different models ----->
ADDIE, ASSURED and the Dick and Carey model, presented by miss chin. i find this model rather helpful as i can have different stage to reflect on. as for example: the ADDIE model ---->
A -Analyze
D-Design
D-Develop
I-Implement
E-Evaluate
this model help me to think whether i have done my part in every stage or not. one has to make sure they have done the requirement needed. As for instance, during the analyze stage, we need to make the objective and goals clear. therefore, these models are very useful as it serves as a guideline for everyone in preparing material for the children.hopefully, everyone can make use of this model and come out with an effective and meaningful material for the children =)

reflection:week 2
video making.that sounds difficult.at first i was quite blurr when people keep talking about various softwares in video making---->when i just know windows movie making.that was really embarrassing.however that's the thing i have to face.again, technology becomes a matter.like it or not, still have to learn and explore as this is an assignment.huh...i did video making once..a terrible video clip about myself =) with this 1% experience, can i manage to do a video clip??(plus,it's a educational purposes).wow,it really needs hardwork+patience+willingness to learn+creativity.Yes,creativity.that's another point.a teacher needs to be creative in making pupils concentrate and at the same time learn.well,it's not the time to think about how difficult it is, but to start exploring and figure out my potential in making this video clip a meaningful+creative+attractive+effective..etc.So, let's just wait and see =)

Reaction to the questions
1. how technology is going to affect how your students are going to be learning.
In my opinion, technology will bring a positive environment to the students especially to the children as it creates fun way of learning. As for example, children may just learn science by watching video clips instead of looking at a boring, dull text book. in fact, this is more effective as it allows pupils to see clear examples (eg animated pictures, video clips). Moreover, it enables students to learn interactively where they can keep updating latest information about what they have learnt just like what we are doing now (blog). Not only that, student's engagement will be allowed as technology attracts them.If technology is used, student will become motivated to learn and at once allow more participation in the classroom.
2. how you as a teacher will be learning.
For this question, i think as a teacher , technology helps us to become more creative as it provides more ideas and materials that a teacher can use in enhancing the t and l activities instead of just using the chalk and talk method. Talking about ideas, here is the advantage where teacher can learn a lot of new things to be shared with the students on the topics that he/she is going to teach.Yes, by using technology, teacher can learn get to know more details on the topics taught.Hence,no doubt, teacher can be absolutely a fountain of knowledge.

Technology in primary education
Technology?Well..that's sounds familiar (but how much I know about it?).That would be a BIG question that I kept thinking about in the class. No doubt, this worries me a lot. However, I knew things will get better when I first met the lecturer; Prof.Dr. Raja Maznah and the tutors. So, this is the time where I can discover lots of things about technology in education and preparing myself to be a SMART teacher in future. I agree with Prof. that " SMART teachers can only be trained to be ready through a total immersion in technology-based learning environment."A teacher is a fountain of knowledge.Hence, with the help of technology, knowledge will be in our hands. The very first day was a good start for me as I learnt something new.PLEaSE.Was it just a please?(that's the first question came up).Well, PLEaSE is not just a please but there's something about it attracts me: Personalize Learning Environment and Student Engagement. There were 2 important words there; Personalize and Engagement. What I could say about these two words is that by personalizing the environment, only then student's engagement will get to the maximum. Students enter classroom with a bagful of experience. Applying PLEaSE will definitely allow them to relate their experiences to what they are learning. I am sure students will engage a lot and learn meaningfully and effectively in the classroom.

The video above provides reasons why we use blog in the classroom.I find this is an interesting video to share as it gives us more clear ideas on why we use blog in the classroom. By understanding the reasons, i think there should be no doubt on how effective the blog can be in making live easier and most importantly, it helps our teaching and learning process a lot.
